Rapid faxing The Super Group 3 high speed fax modem lets documents be sent as quickly as three seconds per page. Incoming faxes are printed at six pages per minute. The dual access function means that faxes can be scanned into the memory even when the machine is transmitting or receiving. The L240 can be programmed with 24 one-touch and 100 speed dial numbers for convenience.
A copier too FAX-L240 can also be used as a high quality laser copier. It takes up to 99 pages in one go, copying them at high resolution.
High quality Whether you are sending plain text, photos, diagrams or a combination of these, gradual changes in density are picked up by Canon's Ultra-High Quality (UHQ) scanning technology, so the receiving end will receive sharp, legible communications.
Space saving The FAX-L240 takes up a minimum amount of space thanks to the U-paper path, which has both paper intake and output at the top of the machine, rather than the front. This convenient feature enables incoming documents to be printed and collated in the correct order.
Useful features The L240 has a handy 100-sheet plain paper tray and a 30-page ADF for multiple page documents to be sent in one go. The password and direct mail prevention features of this model ensure that only those users who are supposed to have access to the fax can send and receive information. If you would like to make information available to others, the polling feature lets bulletins and other information be pulled from your machine. Delayed transmission lets you store documents in the memory and send during off-peak telephone rates.
Easy to maintain Replacing the toner takes a matter of seconds. Toner, cleaner and other key parts all sit together in one easy replaceable unit. The all-in-one cartridge will keep your faxes as well as your hands clean. Optional extras can be fitted to the L240 such as a handset and cradle and there is also an interface for answer phone connection too.
